The Ringfeder Steel Disc Couplings TND Series delivers a torsionally rigid, backlash-free solution for high-precision power transmission applications where reliability, accuracy and maintenance-free operation are essential.

Developed from the proven TSCHAN® POSIMIN® and GERWAH® coupling ranges, the TND Series is engineered for demanding drive systems requiring excellent positioning accuracy combined with effective shaft misalignment compensation.

At the core of the design are advanced stainless steel disc packs developed on the basis of detailed FEM analysis. These consist of multiple circular, torsionally flexible stainless spring steel discs connected via high-precision sleeves to form a compact, integrated unit. Torque is transmitted through tension and compression via high-strength bolted connections, ensuring precise, reliable, and backlash-free power transmission without wear or lubrication.

The TND Series accommodates angular, axial and, depending on configuration, radial shaft misalignment while maintaining low restoring forces, helping to protect connected equipment and extend service life.
