Ringfeder TNZ Series Gear Couplings, formerly known as TSCHAN® TNZ and POSIFLEX®, are torsionally rigid, low-backlash couplings manufactured from high-strength steel for demanding industrial power transmission applications. Designed to transmit exceptionally high torques between shafts, they are widely used across a broad range of industries, including heavy-duty applications such as conveyor systems, mixers, rolling mills and roller tables.

Torque is transmitted through precision-engineered hubs with crowned teeth that remain in constant mesh with straight-toothed sleeves, providing reliable and efficient power transmission. The couplings offer high power density and, depending on the selected design, are capable of compensating for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment.

High-quality grease lubrication with ultra-high pressure additives helps minimise restoring forces, supporting reliable operation while reducing wear. The modular design also provides flexibility, allowing components such as brake discs, brake drums and torsion shafts to be configured to suit specific application requirements.
