TransDrive Spacer Couplings
TransDrive SM Spacer Couplings create extra shaft space for easy maintenance, reducing downtime and simplifying servicing in tight installations.
The TransDrive SM Series spacers provide a simple and efficient solution for maintenance when used with cone ring or tyre couplings. By creating extra space between connected shafts, they allow either the driving or driven machine to be serviced or moved without affecting the alignment or mounting of the other unit. This reduces downtime and makes equipment servicing faster and easier, even in tight or critical installations.
Available in standard Distance Between Shaft Ends (DBSE) of 100mm, 140mm and 180mm, with custom lengths also available to meet specific operational needs.
Selection Procedure
- Use the selection procedure to select a suitable Cone Ring/ Tyre Coupling.
- Select suitable Spacer taking into consideration the required shaft spacing.

Ordering Instructions
- SM Spacers are specified by the size end DBSE (eg. A SM35 spacer with a 140mm DBSE length is specified as a SM35-140)
- SM Spacers require a Taper Fit bush which must be ordered as a separate item (specifying bush size end the required bore)
- To order a complete Spacer coupling list the individual components of the coupling and spacer including required Taper Fit bushes.
