Regal Rexnord completed the acquisition of Altra Industrial Motion in March 2023, strengthening its position as a global provider of automation, motion control and power transmission solutions. The combination brings together highly complementary product portfolios, significantly expanding Regal Rexnord’s industrial powertrain and automation capabilities.

The acquisition enhances Regal Rexnord’s ability to deliver more integrated, application-focused solutions across a broad range of industries, including logistics, food and beverage, medical, aerospace and alternative energy. With automation products sitting alongside power transmission components, customers benefit from improved system design, performance optimisation and lifecycle support.

Following the acquisition, Regal Rexnord now operates through four core segments: Industrial Powertrain Solutions, Power Efficiency Solutions, Automation & Motion Control, and Industrial Systems. This structure supports a stronger focus on innovation, efficiency and delivering high-value, energy-efficient solutions to customers worldwide.
