Rexnord Viva Elastomeric Couplings feature a design based on the proven Rexnord Omega Couplings. Design upgrades to Viva allow for greater torque transmission with a smaller coupling, making it the most torque-dense elastoeric coupling.

Incorporating the quality features of Omega, Rexnord Viva Couplings are non-lubricated, material-flexing split-in-half tire couplings. Viva Couplings are built for reliability in a variety of demanding applications including pumps, compressors, blowers, mixers, and more. This all-purpose coupling has excellent vibration damping capability helping to prolong the life of connected equipment. Offering easy installation and greater torque with a smaller coupling that accepts larger bores.

Made with the specially-formulated polyurethane, Viva’s elastomeric couplings are the most torque-dense elastomeric coupling available. The specially-formulated polyurethane also provides superior chemical and environmental aging resistance compared to rubber-based solutions.

Rexnord also have the Viva extended spacer version (VSX) which connects shafts with the extra-wide gaps (up to 300mm) that have the basic four-component design of two axially-split half flex elements and two hubs, meaning no special hubs or sleeves are required.

Viva element halves are tightly matched to ensure standard weight balance conforms with ISO G16 and AGMA Class 8. This helps in preventing premature wearing due to an unbalanced coupling.
