Stackers and Reclaimers Solutions
Electric motors, gearboxes, brakes, hydraulics, and control systems supply the power and precision needed for every stacking and reclaiming movement in these machines.
What are Stackers and Reclaimers?
A stacker and reclaimer (often called a stacker‑reclaimer) is a large bulk‑material handling machine used to build and then draw down stockpiles of materials like coal, iron ore, limestone, or grain in stockyards at mines, ports, power stations, and steelworks.
Many sites use combined stacker‑reclaimer machines that can both stack and reclaim using a common boom and conveyor arrangement, usually operating in one mode at a time. These are common in coal and ore terminals and steelworks raw‑material yards because they reduce the number of machines needed while still providing high‑capacity, largely automated stockpile building and recovery.
