Problem
A client operating equipment in a highly corrosive salt water environment was experiencing premature failure of standard leaf chain due to rust and corrosion. The harsh operating conditions were significantly reducing chain service life and increasing maintenance and replacement requirements.
Solution
After consulting with our Welshpool branch, the client was supplied with ZEXUS CR02 corrosion-resistant leaf chain as a replacement for the standard chain previously in use. The chain was specifically selected for its ability to withstand corrosive environments while maintaining reliable lifting and load-handling performance.
Outcome
The corrosion-resistant chain delivered improved durability and significantly reduced premature failure caused by rust. Following the success of the initial installation, the client proceeded to order two additional chains, confirming the effectiveness of the solution in the demanding salt water application.
