Zexus, formerly Senqcia/Hitachi, introduced new innovations in manufacturing technologies and part processing which has lead to the development of a range of Roller Chain that now offers up to 30% increase in maximum allowable load compared to leading competitors with conventional Roller Chains.

The Zexus HE Roller Chain is mainly used where stronger chains are required as they are manufactured with thicker link plates than the ANSI Roller Chain to ensure greater capacity for absorbing shock loads. Stronger pin with high-strength steel creates higher tensile strength and higher fatigue strength.

Standard sprockets can be used for a single strand. However, a special sprocket is required for a double or triple strand chain.
