Screw Jacks and Lifting Systems
Screw Jacks are ideal devices to push, pull, lift, lower and position loads. These are designed for both tensile and compressive loads and will operate in any orientation or mounting position. Enzfelder has 14 sizes of standard screw jacks from 250kN to 3000kN with lifting speeds up to 2.5m/min, with custom units available up to 12m/min.
Enzfelder offers many types of configurations in screw jacks, from metric to imperial versions, ball screw jacks, acme screw jacks, electric screw jacks, bevel screw jacks, upright, inverted, high duty cycle, and plain or bellow protected ball screw nuts and special coatings for specific environments.
Classic Screw Jacks
The technology behind Screw Jacks (also known as Spindle Gears) has been known for over 400 years, dating back to 1620; utilised for a multitude of purposes even when originally introduced. Thanks to innovations in the development of machine tools and metalworks during the 18th and 19th centuries, Screw Jacks and their production are continuously refined to ever-increasing standards.

High Performance Screw Jacks
FREN high performances screw jacks are strong worm gear reducers driving a trapezoidal lifting screw. The reducer cases are made of nodular cast iron GGG40 for high loads and meeting high safety standards.
The worm hardened and ground is running on angular ball bearings. The worm wheel is made of high strength material which is particularly abrasion resistant. It is running on thrust ball bearings.
