    Selection Guidelines

    Output torque is calculated from friction torque and operating resistance. Input torque must include a safety margin of 40–100% depending on duty cycle. When selecting an SG Slewing Drive, ensure:

    • Load capacity meets axial, radial, and moment requirements
    • Output torque exceeds application demand
    • Input torque is within allowable limits
    • Operating speeds are within rated values
