Elecon’s Variable Fill Scoop Fluid Coupling adjusts speed continuously by varying the oil quantity in the main circuit through scoop tube movement. The speed range depends on the load type.
The ESC series of Variable Fill Scoop Fluid Couplings enables seamless speed adjustments when paired with a consistent-speed electric motor. Speed changes are achieved by adjusting the oil quantity in the main circuit via scoop tube movement. The available speed range depends on the type of load, such as Centrifugal Loads at 4:1, Constant Torque Loads at 2:1, and Rising Torque Loads at 1.5:1, with the potential for further extension within specified ranges.
