The Reich Technodrive Power Take Off (PTO) unit consists out of a manually engaged dry disc coupling with one, two or three discs, assembled on a shaft and bearings and mounted in cast iron housing, manufactured according to the SAE Standards, which provides easy engine installation.
The shaft from the power take off is supported by two bearings, one is supported by the engineβs flywheel which is necessary for the alignment, while the other, located at the end of the housing, is foreseen to absorb radial forces. This heavy and compact construction guarantees good operation without any problems.
Engineβs power is transmitted by a driving ring which can be mounted directly onto the flywheel.
BD Type and Sizes
The BD unit consists out of a manually engaged dry disc coupling with one, two or three discs, assembled on a shaft and bearings and mounted in cast iron housing, which may be coupled directly to Diesel engines with SAE flanges. They can be used for a variety of industrial applications where there is a need to disengage movement from the engine to the driven unit, such as the drives of compressors, fans, pumps.
Technodrive range consists of single disc power take-offs by 6ββ1/2, 7ββ1/2, 8ββ1/2, 10ββ; 11ββ1/2, double disc power take-offs by 11ββ1/2, 14ββ, triple power take-offs by 11ββ1/2, 14ββ and 18ββ, able to cover a power range between 15-700kW.
